A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
AUBURN, WASHINGTON, APPROVING CONTRACT FOR
SERVICES BETWEEN THE CITY OF AUBURN AND THE KING
COUNTY HOUSING AUTHORITY FOR THE PERIOD
COMMENCING DECEMBER 1, 2003 AND ENDING NOVEMBER
30, 2004
WHEREAS, the King County Housing Authority has determined a need
exists for certain services to be performed for its residents but does not have
the manpower or expertise to perform such services; and
WHEREAS, the King County Housing Authority desires to have the City
of Auburn perform such services.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Mayor and City Clerk of the City of Auburn are
authorized to execute Contract for Services Contract No. 625-2003-0018
between the City and the King County Housing Authority pursuant to which the
Housing Authority will provide funding in the amOunt of Twenty-nine Thousand
Dollars ($29,000.00) to the City of Auburn Police Department to provide a half
time officer to be assigned to Green River Homes, Burndale Homes and
Firwood Circle. A copy of said Contract is attached hereto as Exhibit "1" and is
incorporated herein.

Section 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to implement such
administrative procedures as may be necessary to carry out the directions of
this legislation.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect and be in full force upon
passage and signatures hereon.
