RESOLUTION NO. 3728
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
AUBURN, WASHINGTON DECLARING CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY AS SURPLUS AND AUTHORIZING ITS
DISPOSAL
WHEREAS, the City of Auburn had previously purchased some real property
intended for a future fire station site; and
WHEREAS, in order to best m~et the needs of the City for fire protection, it has
been determined that the site is not the most suitable site for a future fire station; and
WHEREAS, in light of this determination, it would be appropriate to surplus and sell
the real property and apply the proceeds to the purchase of another future fire station site
that would better meet the needs of the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
WASHINGTON HEREBY RESOLVES as follows:
Section 1. That the real property located at 1650 West Valley Hwy So, Auburn, WA
described as follows:
Lot 3 of City of Auburn Short Plat SP-5-81, recorded under Recording No.
8105120560, said short plat being described as follows: That portion of the
Southwest Quarter (SW%) of the Northeast Quarter (NE%) of Section 23,
Township 21 North, Range 4 East of the Willamette Meridian, lying Easterly
of West Valley Highway, Southerly of 15th Street SW, Northerly of 1 yth Street
SW and Westerly of State Route 167, in Auburn, King County, Washington,
also identified as King County Tax Parcel No. 232104-9037
is hereby declared as surplus.

Section 2. That the Mayor is authorized to sell said surplus property and to
implement such administrative procedures as may be necessary to carry out the directives
of this legislation.
Section 3. That this Resolution shall take effect and be in full force upon passage
and signatures hereon.
