HomeMy WebLinkAbout3806 RESOLUTION NO.3 8 0 6 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON DECLARING CERTAIN ITEMS OF PROPERTY AS SURPLUS AND AUTHORIZING THEIR DISPOSAL WHEREAS, the City of Auburn recently moved its Police Department and Municipal Court to new facilities; and WHEREAS, this move resulted in certain items of personal property that had been used at the former police station and municipal court as being surplus to the current needs of the City; and WHEREAS, it would be appropriate to surplus the property and dispose of it by auction or other sale mechanism, or to dispose of it, in whole or in part, through gift to another governmental agency or an appropriate charitable non- profit entity, as deemed most expedient by the Mayor. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON HEREBY RESOLVES as follows: Section 1. That the property identified below is declared to be surplus, and the Mayor is authorized to dispose of and convey such property through appropriate sale or donation to another governmental agency or charitable non- profit entity. 35 -- Metal and wooden desks 26 -- File cabinets 5 -- Bookcases 1 -- Metal shelving system 375 feet of office partitions together with attachable shelving, lighting and work surfaces 12 -- Computer tables -------------"---- Resolution 3806 January 3, 2005 Page 1 58 -- Desk, task, guest/lobby chairs Lobby furniture (one table and one settee) 1 - rug shampooer 6 -- Garbage cans 54 -- Metal lockers 66 - Metal window blinds 3 -- Small conference tables 1 -- Refrigerator and 2 microwaves 1 -- Coffee maker 7 -- Courtroom benches 9 -- Metal storage cabinets 1 -- Computer with monitor, keyboard, printer 1 -- Display cabinets 1 -- Camera copy stand with lights 2 -- Monitors 1 - Court recording and PA system Miscellaneous parts of movable filing system Miscellaneous items including plastic file trays, white boards, cork boards, brochure rack, mirror, easel, keyboard trays, mail rack. Section 2. That the Mayor is authorized to implement such administrative procedures as may be necessary to carry out the directives of this legislation. Section 3.
