A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON DECLARING
CERTAIN ITEMS OF PROPERTY AS SURPLUS AND
AUTHORIZING THEIR DISPOSAL
WHEREAS, the City of Auburn recently moved its Police Department and
Municipal Court to new facilities; and
WHEREAS, this move resulted in certain items of personal property that
had been used at the former police station and municipal court as being surplus
to the current needs of the City; and
WHEREAS, it would be appropriate to surplus the property and dispose of
it by auction or other sale mechanism, or to dispose of it, in whole or in part,
through gift to another governmental agency or an appropriate charitable non-
profit entity, as deemed most expedient by the Mayor.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
WASHINGTON HEREBY RESOLVES as follows:
Section 1. That the property identified below is declared to be surplus,
and the Mayor is authorized to dispose of and convey such property through
appropriate sale or donation to another governmental agency or charitable non-
profit entity.

26 -- File cabinets
5 -- Bookcases
1 -- Metal shelving system
375 feet of office partitions together with attachable shelving,
lighting and work surfaces
12 -- Computer tables

Lobby furniture (one table and one settee)

Miscellaneous items including plastic file trays, white boards, cork
boards, brochure rack, mirror, easel, keyboard trays, mail rack.
Section 2. That the Mayor is authorized to implement such
administrative procedures as may be necessary to carry out the directives of this
legislation.
Section 3. That this Resolution shall take effect and be in full force
upon passage and signatures hereon.
