RESOLUTION NO. 3 8 3 0
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
AUBURN, WASHINGTON DECLARING CERTAIN ITEMS
OF PROPERTY AS SURPLUS AND AUTHORIZING THEIR
DISPOSAL
WHEREAS, the legal department has a number of items which are no longer of
use to the department; and
WHEREAS, it would be appropriate to surplus the property and dispose of it by
auction or other sale mechanism, or to dispose of it, in whole or in part, through gift to
another governmental agency or an appropriate charitable non-profit entity, as deemed
most expedient by the Mayor.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
WASHINGTON HEREBY RESOLVES as follows:
Section 1. That the property identified below is declared to be surplus, and the
Mayor is authorized to dispose of and convey such property through appropriate sale or
donation to another governmental agency or charitable non-profit entity.
1. One office desk measuring 70.5" x 60" x 30";
2. Approximately thirteen (13) boxes containing in-car police video tapes, the
contents of which have been erased;
3. One five (5) drawer filing cabinet measuring 42" x 18" x 65";
4. Approximately ten (10) boxes of miscellaneous three-ring binders; and
5. Approximately seven (7) boxes of miscellaneous office supplies (legal
sized manila folders, legal sized expanding folders, legal sized hanging
files, etc);
6. One Lanier cassette duplicator (inoperable), serial number 10233; and

7. One TRC5200 Sanyo Memo-Scriber Microcassette Dictating Machine;
Section 2. That the Mayor is authorized to implement such administrative
procedures as may be necessary to carry out the directives of this legislation.
Section 3. That this Resolution shall take effect and be in full force upon
passage and signatures hereon.
