RESOLUTION NO.3 8 4 2
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCil OF THE CITY OF
AUBURN, WASHINGTON, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND
CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH SECURITY
PLUS, llC FOR THE PURPOSE OF PURCHASING HARDWARE
AND INSTAllATION OF EQUIPMENT TO EXPAND AND
UPGRADE THE DETENTION FACILITY SURVEillANCE
SYSTEM
WHEREAS, the City has identified a need to expand and upgrade the
detention facility surveillance system to provide additional coverage and allow
for recording and storing online video; and
WHEREAS, the Detention Facility staff and the Information Services
staff analyzed the needs of the facility and identified the best available options
to provide for the expansion and upgraded system; and
WHEREAS, funds for the surveillance system were approved as part of
the 2005 budget; and
WHEREAS, the City has received a bid from Security Plus, llC, and the
City has determined that Security Plus, llC is able and qualified to provide
services necessary, at a cost that is acceptable to the City, and it is therefore
appropriate for the City to execute an agreement with Security Plus, LlC based
on this bid.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCil OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
WASHINGTON, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOllOWS:

Section 1. Purpose. That the Mayor and the City Clerk are authorized
to execute an agreement in substantial conformity with the bid attached hereto,
marked as Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein by this reference.
Section 2. Implementation. The Mayor of the City of Auburn is hereby
authorized to implement such administrative procedures as may be necessary
to carry out the directions of this resolution.
Section 3. Effective Date. This Resolution shall take effect and be in
full force upon passage and signatures hereon.
