RESOLUTION NO.3 8 6 5
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR TO AWARD NEIGHBORHOOD
MATCHING GRANTS TO SELECTED APPLICANTS
WHEREAS the City Council of the City of Auburn appropriated funds in its
2005 General Fund budget for the purpose of Neighborhood Matching Grants; and
WHEREAS the City's Department of Planning and Community Development
received two proposed grants from prospective applicants; and
WHEREAS these grant applications were reviewed in accordance to the
management memorandum approved by the Mayor and City Council of Auburn; and
WHEREAS the Planning and Community Development Committee forwarded
their recommendation for funding to the Mayor of Auburn who, in turn, submits them
to the City Council's review and approval.
NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
WASHINGTON, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Mayor of the City of Auburn is hereby authorized to award
Neighborhood Matching Grant to the projects outlined in Exhibit A which is attached hereto
and incorporated herein by this reference.
Section 2. That the Mayor is authorized to implement such administrative
procedures as may be necessary to carry out the directives of this legislation.
Section 3. That this Resolution shall take effect and be in full force upon passage
and signatures hereon.
