Home My WebLink About3983 RESOLUTION NO. 3 9 8 3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON DECLARING CERTAIN ITEMS OF PROPERTY AS SURPLUS AND AUTHORIZING THEIR DISPOSAL WHEREAS, the various departments have a number of items which are no longer of use to the departments and to the City of Auburn; and WHEREAS, it would be appropriate to surplus the property and dispose of it by auction or other sale mechanism, or to dispose of it, in whole or in part, through gift to another governmental agency or an appropriate charitable non-profit entity, as deemed most expedient by the Mayor; and NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON HEREBY RESOLVES as follows: Section 1. That the property identified below is declared to be surplus, and the Mayor is authorized to dispose of and convey such property through appropriate sale or donation to another governmental agency or charitable non-profit entity. 1. One (1), two-drawer, metal filing cabinet; 2. One (1), three-drawer, wooden filing cabinet; 3. One (1), five-legged, blue chair with adjustable arms, serial number DJZTXM; 4. One (1), five-legged, tan chair without arms, 5. One (1), Electronic Typewriter, Model Number GX-6750, Serial Number AOD617096; 6. Approximately ten (10) boxes of miscellaneous office supplies (three ring binders, legal sized expanding file folders, etc); and 7. One (1), 13" x 25" x 28 '/." metal, top-access, rollaway file cart. That the property identified in the list, attached hereto as Exhibit "A" is declared to be surplus and the Mayor is authorized to dispose of and convey such property through appropriate sale or donation to another governmental agency or charitable non-profit entity. Section 3. That the Mayor is authorized to implement such administrative procedures as may be necessary to carry out the directives of this legislation. Section 4.
