RESOLUTION NO. 4099
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR TO NEGOTIATE AND EXECUTE AN
AGREEMENT WITH KING COUNTY FOR THE
PURCHASE OF PROPERTY LOCATED ON LUND
STREET
WHEREAS, the City of Auburn has been approached by King County its
willingness to sell property located along Lund Street, described as follows:
Lot 2 of Auburn SP-11-85, Recording No. 8601080790, said Short Plat,
described as follows: West Y2 of the West Y2 of the NE % of the SW % of
Section 13, Township 21 North, Range 4 East, W.M., King County,
Washington, LESS State Road, LESS County Road; and
WHEREAS, the above-described property is property that could be beneficially
used by the City; and
WHEREAS, in order to effect such sale, it is appropriate for the Mayor to
negotiate an agreement to consummate such sale at a price satisfactory to the
City.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
WASHINGTON, HEREBY RESOLVES as follows:
Section 1. That the Mayor is authorized to negotiate an agreement with
King County for the purchase of the above-described property, and the Mayor
and the City Clerk are authorized to execute such agreement as negotiated
within budgetary and scoping parameters.
Section 2. That the Mayor is authorized to implement such administrative
procedures as may be necessary to carry out the directives of this legislation.

Section 3. That this Resolution shall take effect and be in full force
upon passage and signatures hereon.
