A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, RELATING TO
ADDRESSING
WHEREAS, Auburn City Code 12.52 and 15.52 concerning the naming of
streets and the assignment of specific building addresses provides authority to
the building official to develop and administer the City's Addressing Policies; and
WHEREAS, those policies are intended to create a uniform system far
assigning addresses to buildings within the City; and
WHEREAS, it is recognized in ACC 15.52.055 that there will be occasions
where a property owner may petition for a deviation from the address policies;
and
WHEREAS, such petitions are heard and decided by the Auburn City
Council; and
WHEREAS, a petition for deviation from the City's addressing policy has
been received; and
WHEREAS, the public safety representatives of the City's address
committee are in concurrence with the building official that the petitioner's
request will not inhibit public safety or delivery of mail services.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
WASHINGTON, DOES RESOLVE as follows:

1. Building Address Changes. Building numbers for the Wesley
Homes Community shall be changed to reflect the building numbers shown in
Exhibit A herein.
2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to implement such administrative
procedures as may be necessary to carry out the directives of this legislation.
3. Effective Date. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
upon passage and signatures hereon.

Subject: Addresses for Wesley Hoines Lea Hill Village Homes
In reference to the subject project, we are concerned about the potential confusion for
residents, staff and emergency personnel with the established numbering of the single homes and
duplexes with so many uiuts identified as either 101 or 102. This creates a hardship for our
residents who have identified their unit as Village Home # 1 - 22 over the past two years and for
our communication systems that have been set up in the same manner.
