HomeMy WebLinkAbout4466 RESOLUTION NO. 4466 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, TO PROVIDE AN ADDRESS CHANGE FOR A SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE WHEREAS, Auburn City Code (ACC) Chapters 12.52 and 15.52 concerning the naming of streets and the assignment of specific building addresses provides authority to the Building Official to develop and administer the City's Addressing Policies; and WHEREAS, those policies are intended to create a uniform system for assigning addresses to buildings within the City; and WHEREAS, ACC section 15.52.055 provides that petitions for address changes may be initiated by a City department; and WHEREAS, the City of Auburn Building Division has identified addresses in error and in use; and WHEREAS, the public safety representatives of the City's address committee are in concurrence with the Building Official that the petitioner's request will not inhibit public safety; and WHEREAS, the City Code provides that such requests are decided by the Auburn City Council; and NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, DOES RESOLVE as follows: Resolution No. 4466 April 14, 2009 Page 1 of 2 Section 1. Buildinq Address Assiqnments. The building address for the single-family residence, King County tax parcel number 0004000067 formerly identified with the address 821 32"d Place NE Auburn, WA 98002 shall be assigned as 3203 I St NE, Auburn, WA 98002. Section 2. Implementation. The Mayor of the City of Auburn is hereby authorized to implement such administrative procedures as may be necessary to carry out the directions of this Resolution.
