Background Summary:
Resolution No. 3703 authorizes the Mayor and City Clerk to execute an Agreement with the Central
Puget Sound Regional Transit Authority (Sound Transit) for the Development and Maintenance of a Kiss-
and-Ride Parking Lot and the conveyance of Real Property Interests. The City will completethe
constructionof the Kiss-and-Ride parking lot using $117,000 from Sound Transit and will own, operate
and maintain of the parking lot.In addition, the City will complete landscaping improvements for Sound
Transit on their west parking lot at their expense, which is estimated at $35,000. The agreement also
completes the payment to the City for previous station-related development costs owed to the City
totaling $30,532.31. Finally, the agreement details the current and ultimate division of maintenance roles
and use of the parking lot by the City and Sound Transit.
