HomeMy WebLinkAbout7608160604 QUIT CLAIM DEED 081676. 1~ QUIT CLAIM DEED THE YOUNG MEN'S CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION OF SEATTLE, a corpor- ation, Grantor, for and in consideration of One ($1.00) Dollar and other valuable consideration, conveys and quit claims to the CITY OF AUBURN, a municipal corporation, Grantee, a parcel 120 feet by 120 © feet constituting the northwesterly corner of the following described © real property situated in the County of King, State of Washington: ~1O U That portion of the northwest quarter of the northeast quarter of Section 19, Township 21 North, Range 5 East, W.M., more particularly described as follows: Commencing at the northeast corner of the north- west quarter of the northeast quarter; running thence south 89°21'31" west along the north line of the northwest quarter of the northeast quarter a distance of 450.00 feet; thence south 21°01'48" east, a distance of 469.19 feet; thence south 0°12'35" west, a distance of 487.69 feet, to the true point of beginning; thence south 0°12'35" west, a distance of 362.00 feet; thence south 89°27127" west, a distance of 602.13 feet; thence north 0°32'33" west 362.00 feet; thence easterly to the true point of beginning. SUBJECT TO zoning laws and any restrictions, cov- enants, reservations and easements of record; subject also to a reservation to the United States of America of fissionable materials in accordance with the provisions of Executive Order 9908 (12 F. R. 8223) as follows: All uranium, thorium, and all other materials determined pursuant to Section 5(b)(1) of the Atomic Energy Act of 1946 (60 Stat. 761) to be peculiarly essential to the production of fission- able material, contained, in whatever concentra- tion, in deposits in the lands covered by this instrument, are hereby reserved for the use of the United States, together with the right of the representatives at any time to enter upon the land and prospect for, mine, and remove the same, making just compensation for any damage or injury occasioned thereby. However, such land may be used, and any rights otherwise acquired by this disposition may be exercised, as if no reservation of.such materials had been made; except that, when such use results in the extraction of any such material from the land in quantities which may not be transferred or delivered without a license under the Atomic Energy Act of 1946, as it now exists or may hereafter be amended, such material shall be the property of the United States Atomic Energy Commission, and the Commission may require delivery 196 E)'CO E TAX NOT IREQUIMRCD Co. If the Commission requires the delivery of such material to it, it shall pay to the person mining or extracting the same, or to such other person as the Commission determines to be entitled thereto, such sums, in- cluding profits, as the Commission deems fair and and reasonable for the discovery, mining, develop- . ment, production, extraction, and other services O performed with respect to such material prior to CD such delivery, but such payment shall not include any amount on account of the value of such material 0 before removal from its place of deposit in nature. CD If the Commission does not require delivery of such material to it, the reservation hereby made shall be of no further force or effect. The above-described property is granted to the Grantee subject to reverter to Grantor, its successors, such reverter to take effect upon the expiration of twenty-five (25) years from the date hereof or upon amortization or liquidation of the interests of the State of Washington in the group home to be constructed thereon arising out of its contribution of funds for such construction.
