QUIT CLAIM DEED

receipt of which is acknowledged, and other good and valuable
consideration, hereby conveys and quit claims to the CITY OF
AUBURN, a municipal corporation of the State of Washington,
Grantee, subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth, the
following described real property situated in the City of Auburn,
County of King, State of Washington:
A strip of land lying in the Northeast quarter
of Section 24, Township 21 North, Range 4 E.,
W.M., King County, Washington, described as
follows:
Beginning at a brass plug marking the center of
Section 25, Township 21 North, Range 4 E, W.M.,
King County, Washington, said monument also marking
the centerline intersection of Algona and Greenhalgh
Roads, the centerline of Algona Road which bears
S 89°46'07" W; thence N 08°47'00" E, a distance of
50.01 feet; thence N 89°46'07" E, a distance of
121.20 feet; thence along a curve to the left having
a radius of 603.11 feet and a central angle of 31°58'55"
an arc distance of 336.65 feet; thence N 57°47'12" E
a distance of 539.05 feet; thence N 02°13'01" W a
distance of 5,690.34 feet and the True Point of
Beginning.
Thence continuing N 02°13'01" W 50.00 feet; thence
S 87°47'46" W to the Easterly margin of the Chicago,
Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad right-of-way;
thence Southwesterly along said Easterly margin to a
point which bears S 87°47'46" W from the True Point of
Beginning; thence N 87°47'46" E to the True Point of
Beginning.
TOGETHER WITH a permanent easement for slope and
drainage purposes over a strip of land 35 feet in
width lying North of and adjoining the Northerly
line of the above described property, LESS the East
180 feet thereof.
The parcels of land above described are a portion of
the right-of-way for Grantor's, its successors and assigns,
present and future transmission and/or distribution lines, and

said parcels of land are hereby conveyed to the Grantee solely
for the establishment and maintenance of a public highway and the
installation and maintenance of utility lines and other related
municipal purposes. As part of the consideration for this

(P. transaction, it is understood that Grantor, its successors and

assigns, may maintain, improve, add to or construct electric

lines and related facilities along, under and across the property
herein conveyed, provided, however, that any additions or changes
to the transmission and/or distribution facilities of the Grantor
as well as any facilities constructed in the future by Grantor
shall not interfere with or obstruct said public highway or other
utility lines or municipal facilities located within the right
of way of such public highway. Should it become necessary in the
future to alter or relocate any of said facilities from within
the right-of-way herein conveyed, by order of the City of Auburn,
all costs for such alterations or relocations shall be borne by
the City of Auburn.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF Grantor has caused-this instrument
to be executed by its proper officers and its corporate seals to
be hereunto affixed this 17- day of 1967.

personally appeared J. H. Abramson and C. B. Schoeggl ,
to me known to be the Vice President and Secretary
respectively, of the corporation that executed the within and
foregoing instrument, and acknowledged said instrument to be the
free and voluntary act and deed of said corporation, for the uses
and proposes therein mentioned, and on oath stated that they were
authorized to execute said instrument and that the seal affixed
is the corporate seal of said corporation.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and
affixed my official seal the day and year first above written.
