I. CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Peter B. Lewis called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m.
Councilmembers present were: Rich Wagner, Sue Singer, Gene Cerino,
Nancy Backus, Bill Peloza, Lynn Norman and Virginia Haugen.
Staff members present included: Planning, Building and Community
Director Cindy Baker; Public Works Director Dennis Dowdy; Deputy Police
Chief Bob Lee; Information Services Director Lorrie Rempher; Parks, Arts
and Recreation Director Daryl Faber; Grant Writer Michael Wilson;
Emergency Management Manager Sarah Miller; Communications
Manager Dana Hinman; Economic Development Manager Dave Baron;
Transportation Planner/Grants Manager Chris Hankins; City Attorney
Daniel B. Heid; Assistant Planning Director Kevin Snyder; Senior Planner
Jeff Dixon; Finance Director Shelley Coleman; Environmental Protection
Manager Kelly McLain Aardal; and Deputy City Clerk Cathy Richardson.
II. Resolutions

A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Auburn, Washington,
authorizing the Mayor to submit an application to the Washington
State Public Works Board for the 2009 Urban Vitality Grant
Program
Councilmember Norman moved and Councilmember Backus
seconded to adopt Resolution No. 4518.
Councilmembers briefly discussed Resolution No. 4518.
MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY. 7-0.

Councilmember Cerino moved and Councilmember Peloza
seconded to adopt Resolution No. 4519.

MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY. 7-0.
III. ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the Council, the meeting
adjourned at 5:15 p.m.
