HomeMy WebLinkAboutITEM II-B AGENDA BILL APPROVAL FORM Agenda Subject:Date: Consultant Agreement No. AG-C-302 September 15, 2009 Department:Attachments:Budget Impact: Public WorksNone$ 0 Administrative Recommendation: City Council grant permission to enter into Amendment No. 2 for Consultant Agreement No. AG-C-302 with Brown and Caldwell, for Engineering Services related to the Comprehensive Storm Drainage Plan update. Background Summary: The City previously entered into a Consultant Agreement with Brown and Caldwell to update the existing Comprehensive Storm Drainage Plan. The scope of services includes: level of service criteria, collect additional data and update of GIS layers, develop hydraulic modeling, pump station evaluation, support NPDES II program implementation, development of a Capital Improvement Plan, and project management. This amendment will address incorporation of the remaining staff comments, finalize the Plan document, additional reproduction costs, and continue to add storm drainage infrastructure to the hydraulic model. The update to the Comprehensive Drainage Plan is expected to be completed by year end 2009. The not-to-exceed amount for this amendment is $35,000increasing the agreement total to $652,522. A project increase of $7,478 within the Storm fund will be necessary; however, it will not require a budget adjustment due to the deferment of Project No. CP518A0 Downtown Water Quality Facility.
