CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION MEETING
Meeting Minutes of June 9, 2009
The regularly scheduled meeting of the Civil Service Commission was held June 9, 2009, in Resource
Room #2 located on the second floor of Auburn City Hall, 25 West Main Street, Auburn, WA. The
following members were in attendance.
MEMBERS PRESENT: Dick Kammeyer, Chairman; Chuck Booth, Member; Cyril Van Selus, Member.
STAFF PRESENT: Terry Mendoza, Secretary/Civil Service Examiner; Jim Kelly, Police Chief; and
Steven Gross, Assistant City Attorney.
ACTION:
Chairman Kammeyer called the meeting to order at 3:37 p.m.
Approval of the May 12, 2009, Civil Service Commission meeting minutes:
• Minutes were accepted as written. Motion by Booth, Van Selus seconded.
Approval of the June 1, 2009, Entry Level Police Eligibility List:
• Motion by Booth, Van Selus seconded.
POLICE DEPARTMENT:
The following updates were provided:
• The number of candidates in the background process and the number of conditional offers out for
entry level police, lateral level police and police services specialist.
ADJOURNMENT:
There being no further business to come before the Commission, the meeting adjourned at 3:41 p.m.
