MINUTES
NOVEMBER 30, 2009
I. CALL TO ORDER
Chair Rich Wagner called the meeting to order at 4:30 p.m. in Conference
Room 2 located on the second floor of Auburn City Hall, 25 West Main
Street, Auburn, Washington.
Members in attendance included Chair Rich Wagner, Vice Chair Sue
Singer and Member Gene Cerino. Councilmember Virginia Haugen and
City Clerk Danielle Daskam were also present.
II. 2010 CITY COUNCIL COMMITTEE ASSIGNMENTS
Committee members discussed assignments to Council Committees for
2010 and reviewed the recommended Committee assignments identified
as Suggestions for 2010 Auburn City Council Committee Structure and
Membership (revised 11/09/09).
Vice Chair Singer expressed an interest in serving on the Municipal
Services Committee. Vice Chair Singer proposed the Municipal Services
Committee membership should consist of Bill Petoza as Chair, Sue Singer
as Vice Chair, and John Partridge as Member.
Member Cerino recommended assigning Councilmember Haugen to the
Municipal Services Committee.
Upon further discussion, Chair Wagner and Vice Chair Singer agreed that
membership on the Municipal Services Committee would be Bill Peloza as
Chair, Sue Singer as Vice Chair, and John Partridge as Member.
Vice Chair Singer requested to be removed from the Community Center
Committee. Committee members agreed that the Community Center
Committee membership would be Rich Wagner as Chair, Lynn Norman as
Vice Chair and Bill Peloza as Member.

Chair Wagner directed that the City Clerk prepare a resolution designating
the following committee assignments:
Planning and Community Development

Nancy Backus, Vice Chair

Municipal Services
Bill Peloza, Chair
Sue Singer, Vice Chair
John Partridge, Member
Public Works
Rich Wagner, Chair
Sue Singer, Vice Chair

Nancy Backus, Chair
Lynn Norman, Vice Chair
John Partridge, Member
Community Center
Rich Wagner, Chair
Lynn Norman, Vice Chair
Bill Peloza, Member
Downtown Redevelopment
Lynn Norman, Chair
Sue Singer, Vice Chair
Bill Peloza, Member
Sue Singer will be Deputy Mayor and Councilmember-at-large.
Committee meeting dates, times and functions will remain the same.
III. ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 4:59 p.m.
