APPLICATION REQUESTED: A variance from the required rear and street side setback for a
detached structure in the Single-Family Detached-Five (SFD-5)
zone in Lakeland Hills South PUD.

DESCRIPTION OF PROPOSAL: A variance request to allow a freestanding patio cover, approximately
182 square feet in size, which was constructed approximately 3.75 feet (3'8" per applicant) away from the
rear property line and 1.75 feet (21" per applicant) from the street side property line. The required rear
setback for a detached structure in the Single-Family Detached-Five (SFD-5) zone is five (5) feet and the
required street side setback is six (6) feet.
