Board Meeting Minutes

I. Call to Order and Approval of Minutes
A. President Nishimoto called the meeting to order and asked for the approval of the
minutes. MOTION CARRIED
II. Treasury Report
A. Treasurer Hedger reported that the museum's finances are quite good, with earnings
higher at this point in the year than last year.
III. Capital Campaign Ronnie Beyersdorf and JB Rupert
Board members spent about 35 minutes touring the farm, visiting each building and learning
about historic preservation standards. We discussed work that has been accomplished and
work that needs to be done.
Board members also discussed a kick-off event for the Capital Campaign. Ideas that were
brought up included using the new restaurant at the golf course, staging two events in order to
accommodate more people (since parking is so limited,) dividing the guests into the highest
level prospects (those able of making gifts of $5,000 or over,) and prospects able to make
donations over $1,000.
IV. Adjournment
President Nishimoto adjourned the meeting at 2:40 p.m.
Next board meeting will be June 20, 2007
