III. Treasury and Committee Reports
A. Finance Committee
Treasurer Hedger stated he said we are waiting until the end of the year for ending
financial satus. He said the Harvest Ball earned roughly $16,000, down from $20,000 of other
years-causing the museum to probably end the year without a surplus or slightly in the red.
The museum has not ended in a deficite more than twice in the past seventeen years.
B. Mary Olson Farm Capital Campaign
Ronnie Beyersdorf reported that we still have $294,000 to go on the capital campaign.
We discussed several options for future fund raising events.
C. Harvest Costume Ball Final Report
Hedger said we had a lot fewer paying attendees this year. It looks like we are about
$7k to $8k off where we want to be. We maybe need to move to Auburn for 2008 and that we
need to cut the ticket prices. Patricia reported that the Muckleshoot Casino can do all that we
want and less cost. We could also charge $50 a ticket.
IV. Staff Report
A. Farm Field Trip Update
Andy Clark reported on the school kids trip to the Mary Olson Farm. She described the
