Chair Report: The Long Range Planning Task Force will take a number of meetings to go
through the entire plan. Among other goals the committee is reviewing are ways to earn
revenue at the Mary Olson Farm. It was announced that there are several qualified applicants
for the position of Curator of Collections and that interviews will begin next week.
Treasury & Committee Reports: Acting Treasurer Larry Miller presented the Treasurers
report. The net loss as of 2-28-06 was ($1853.)
• Gordy Nishimoto reported that the Audit committee met on March 6t" and congratulated
Kristen of a great job done. They did have a few small recommendations.
• Ron Beyersdorf reported that the free Wednesdays have netted $1850 in sponsorships.
• Judi Roland announced that a "save the date" postcard is going out for the Harvest Ball.

and they will put it to better and public use.
Mary Olson Farm Capital Campaign: Holly Taylor and Patricia reviewed how a capital
campaign is formulated and explained the pyramid of fundraising. They outlined the Board's

learn about the Case; why this is important. After much discussion, Ron Beyersdorf moved to
table this discussion and continue it at the next board meeting. This motion was seconded by
Gordy Nishimoto, and passed.
Meting adjourned at 2:45 PM, Submitted by: Jan Cavanaugh, Secretary
