1. Ca11 to Order and Approval of Minutes
A. Vice President Natsuhara called the meeting to order and asked for the approval of the minutes as
_ corrected, adding in III, C. "New membership categories and benefits were reviewed and approved."

. II. Treasury and Committee Report
A. The financial report was presented by bookkeeper Kristen Bruhahn. Bill Peloza made a motion to
accept it, seconded by Hans Torklep. MOTION CARRIED
B. Nicole Kanvhite reported that members of the PR committee were working acquiring signage along
Aubum Way, combining efforts with the Senior Center and other park residents. She said that in the future a group
of stakeholders would be assembled to review the Museum in terms of its image and "brand."
C. Michael Cassella-Blackburn reported that the Harvest Masquerade Ball Committee had redesigned the
levels and benefits for sponsorships: $2,500 naming sponsor (gets lead recognition and a table,) $650 Table
, Sponsor (secondary recognition table of 8 plus wine,) Gold Sponsor ($500, rivo tickets plus secondary recognition,)
. and Silver Sponsor ($250, secondary recognition.)
D. Charles Natsuhara reported that the Membership Committee would be drafting a new membership
brochure to accompany the newly-approved membership levels and benefits: This project will go to the PR
committee for branding before it is produced this summer.
III. Staff Repoi-t
A. Karen Haas repor[ed on the upcoming summer program, "Hooked on History," offered on six
consecutive Wednesdays to complement the popular music in the park program. We believe that this activity will
become a mainstay of our educational offerings.
B Patricia Cosgrove reminded the boazdfhat the Auburn Soroptimist Club had sponsored an exhibit case in
the Key Bank Gallery, the support of which was "matched" by the Board. The new plaque is in place honoring
long-term board member and Soroptimist Libby Dykstra who passed away a few months ago.
C. Cosgrove asked the Board to approve a$2850 expense to the City of Aubum for the purchase of two
computers and programs to augment the four computers that they are "donating" to the museum. In this way all
staff members have a computer as will the volunteers that work cataloging the artifact collection was suggested
that the funds be taken from the un-restricted funds in a money market account. MOTION CARRIED
_ IV. Adjourmnent
Charles Natsuhara adjourned the meeting in record time at 2:20.
