The Pinance Committee, following iuslruclions oElhe board, is investing lhe approximately $49,000 of endowinent-type funds, roughly one.half in an MA rated step-note, providing semi-aimual income starling at 4.5%, aud roughly oue-half; iii an 18-month CD eacuing 2% interest. The Pinance Conunitlee recommended supporting staffreyuests: purahasing for roug6ly $1,300 a new computer for Karen Haas; $600 in shelving for Alyssa Shidcy Morciu lo use in artifacl storagc; and using reslricted Cunds inlerest incotne lo cover lhe purchase oflabels and ove.tages in qhe, sculptuce fund.
