Meeting.called to.order by.Debbie Maguire at 1:30pm. Minutes approved, by Ellen, Nicole
IL Chair Report
A. Nominating committee announced. Mike McDennott, Larry Miller and Loriamie
Claudon. The slate will be presented in November if you wish not to continue on the
boazd please contact_Larry.
B. The City of Auburn Budget remains at the same, providing roughly 2/3 of the
Museum's operating capital (one change Karen IIaas is now 3/4 time up from %z jime). and
- the Historical Society represents the other 1/3 of our budget: As always, extra projects .
and Olson Farm are outside of this budget, and are generally supported by grauts aud
donations.

IV. Staff Report
A. Patricia asked for input for the Board retreat scheduled Jan 19, from 1:30-4:00pm.
B. Karen Haas spoke of interviewing women of Auburn about their wardrobe choices and
- - how tastes and dressing-up_ traditions have changed. This information will be used in
the up ooming ekbibit- Dressing-Up; What it Means and Why We Have Done It.
Karen has interviewed Jan Cavanaugh, Jo Cugini, Joan Mason, Carole Rottle, Helen
Norman, Rosie Shimojina, and Clelia Stevens.
Larry invited all to join him at the Justice Cenfre'Grand Opeuing Nov 12 at IO:OOam.
