ORDINANCE NO. 3 6 1 5
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, PROVIDING FOR THE REZONING OF
A PARCEL OF LAND ONE ACRE IN SIZE LOCATED ON THE WEST SIDE OF CLAY
STREET NORTHWEST IN THE 200 BLOCK AKA 210 CLAY STREET NORTHWEST,
WITHIN THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION
THEREOF FROM R-2 TO M-1.
WHEREAS, a petition has been submitted to the Council of the City of
Auburn, Washington, by LOWELL NELSON, requesting the rezoning of the real
property hereinafger described in Section 1 of this Ordinance, which petition
was dated December 11, 1980; and
WHEREAS, said request above referred to, was referred to the Planning
Commission by the Auburn City Council for study and public hearing thereon; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing to consider said
petition in the Council Chambers of the Auburn City Hall, on February 3, 1981,
at 7:30 P.M., at the conclusion of which the Planning Commission recommended
the approval of the rezoning of the said property; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Auburn, held a public hearing
in the Council Chambers of the Auburn City Hall, at 8:00 P.M. on March 2, 1981,
at which time the City Council concurred with the recommendations of the Planning
Commission as hereinabove stated;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the following described property located on a parcel of
land one acre in size located on the west side of Clay Street Northwest in the
200 block, also known as 210 Clay Street Northwest, situate in the City of Auburn,
County of King, State of Washington, be and the same is hereby rezoned from R-2
(Single Family) to M-1 (Light Industrial), to-wit:
Lot 4, Block D. Lunns Garden Tracts to Auburn as recorded
in Plats Vol 10, pg 33 records of King County, WA, situated
in Section 13, Twp 21 N, R 4 EWM, City of Auburn, County of
King, State of Washington.

Section 2: That the amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning Map of the
City of Auburn, Washington, encompassing this zoning use classification change,
which amendment is designated as Exhibit "A" hereof, be and the same is hereby
approved.
Section 3. That the Planning Director for the City of Auburn, Washington,
is hereby authorized and directed to file a certified copy of this Ordinance
with the King County Auditor.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force five (5)
days from and after its passage, approval and publication, as provided by law.
