AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, AMENDING AUBURN CODIFIED CITY
ORDINANCE 1.24.010 BY REDUCING THE MAXIMUM JAIL SENTENCE FOR
VIOLATION OF AN AUBURN CITY ORDINANCE FROM UP TO SIX MONTHS
IN THE AUBURN CITY JAIL TO UP TO NINETY DAYS IN THE AUBURN
CITY JAIL.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Auburn Codified City Ordinance 1.24.010, Penalties for
Violations, is hereby amended to read as follows:
111.24.010 Generally.
Notwithstanding any present city ordinance to the contrary, and
as authorized by RCW 35A.11.020 of the Optional Municipal Code of the
laws of the state, for any conviction of an ordinance violation in the
Auburn City Code there shall be imposed a fine of up to five hundred
dollars, or a jail sentence of up to (.(s#x-?eptks)) ninety days, or
both. such fine and imprisonment."
Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force five (5)
days from and after its passage, approval and publication, as provided by law.

the County of King, State of Washington, do hereby certify that the fore-
going is a full, true and correct copy of ordinance No. 3618 of the
ordinances of the City of Auburn, entitled "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY
OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, AMENDING AUBURN OODIFIED CITY ORDINANCE 1.24.010
BY REDUCING THE NIFIXIMUM JAIL SENTENCE FOR VIOLATICN OF AN AUBURN CITY
ORDIANCE FROM UP TO SIX M TIHS IN THE AUBURN CITY JAIL TO UP TO NINETY
DAYS IN THE ALSURN CITY JAIL."
I certify that said Ordinance No. 3618 was duly passed by the Council
and approved by the Mayor of the said City of Auburn, on the 16th day of
March A.D., 19 81 .
I further certify that said Ordinance No. 3618 was published as provided
by law in the Daily Globe News, a daily newspaper published in the City of
Auburn, and of general circulation therein, on the 22nd day of March
A.D., 19 81 .
