AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, PROVIDING FOR THE REZONING OF
A PARCEL OF LAND 9,618 SQUARE FEET IN SIZE.LOCATED AT THE SOUTHWEST
CORNER OF 22nd AND "M" STREETS NE., WITHIN THE CITY OF AUBURN,
WASHINGTON, CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION THEREOF FROM
R-2 TO R-3.
WHEREAS, a petition has been submitted to the Council of the City of
Auburn, Washington, by Donald H. Myers requesting the rezoning of the real
property hereinafter described in Section 1 of this Ordinance, which petition
was dated 3-24-81; and
WHEREAS, said request above referred to, was referred to the Planning
Commission by the Auburn City Council for study and public hearing thereon; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing to consider said
petition in the Council Chambers of the Auburn City Hall, on May 5, 1981,
at 7:30 P.M., at the conclusion of which the Planning Commission recommended
the approval of the rezoning of the said property; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Auburn, held a public hearing
in the Council Chambers of the Auburn City Hall, at 8:00 P.M. on June 1, 1981,
at which time the City Council concurred with the recommendations of the Planning
Commission as hereinabove stated;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the following described property located on a parcel of
land 9,618 square feet in size located at the southwest corner of 22nd and "M"
Streets NE., situate in the City of Auburn, County of King, State of Washington,
be and the same is hereby rezoned from.R-2 (Single Family) to R-3 (Duplex), to-wit:
The E 67.50 ft of W 142.5 ft of E 997.5 ft of N 185 ft of S }
41.Brannan DC #37, in King County, Wa. EXCEPT the N 45 ft for
street, SUBJECT TO an easement for electric line and incidental
purposes recorded 3-19-59, under Auditors File No. 5009669;

right to make necessary slopes for cuts of fills upon said
premises in conformity with standard plans and specifications
for highway purposes, and to the same extend as if the rights
granted had been acquired by condemnation proceedings under
statute of the State of Washington, as granted by deed under
Auditors File No. 488114 of King County.
Section 2. That the amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning Map of the
City.of Auburn, Washington, encompassing this zoning use classification change,
which amendment is designated as Exhibit "A" hereof, be and the same is hereby
approved.
Section 3. That the Planning Director for the City of Auburn, 1Iiashington,
is hereby authorized and directed to file a certified copy of this Ordinance
with the King County Auditor.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force five (5)
days from and after its passage, approval and publication, as provided by law.
