ORDINANCE NO. 3 6 5 4
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, ADDING A NEW SECTION TO
CHAPTER 10.36 OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
(STOPPING, STANDING AND PARKING) PROHIBITING PARKING IN DESIGNATED
FIRE ZONES AND, IN ADDITION TO OTHER PENALTIES, AUTHORIZING SUCH
ILLEGALLY PARKED VEHICLES TO BE IMMEDIATELY IMPOUNDED.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. There is herewith added to Chapter 10.36 of the Codified
Ordinances of the City of Auburn, the following new section, to-wit:
"Parking in fire zone prohibited. Except when necessary to
avoid conflict with other traffic, or in compliance with the
direction of a police officer or fire official or traffic
control sign, signal or device, no person shall stop, stand
or park a vehicle, whether occupied or not, in a designated
fire zone, except momentarily to pick up or discharge a
passenger or passengers or temporarily for the purpose of and
while actually engaged in loading or unloading property. Vehicles
parked in a fire zone are subject to immediate impoundment, in
addition to other penalties."
Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force five (5)
days from and after its passage, approval and publication, as provided by law.

of the City of Auburn, a Municipal Corporation and Code City, situate in
the County of King, State of Washington, do hereby certify that the fore-
going is a full, true and correct copy of Ordinance No. 3654 of the
ordinances of the City of Auburn, entitled "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF
AUBURN, WASHINGTON, ADDING A NEW SECTION TO CHAPTER 10.36 OF THE CODIFIED
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, (STOPPING, STANDING AND PARKING) PRDHI-
BITING PARKING IN DESIGNATED FIRE ZONES AND, IN ADDITION TO OTHER PENALTIES,
AUTHORIZING SUCH ILLEGALLY PARKED VEHICLES TO BE IMMEDIATELY IMPOUNDED.
I certify that said Ordinance No. 3654 was duly passed by the Council
and approved by the Mayor of the said City of Auburn, on the 6th day of

by law in the Daily Globe News, a daily newspaper published in the City of
