THE.CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN
AS FOLCOWS: Section 1. Auburn,Codified City Ordinance 8.08.240 (Auburn City Ordinance
. No. 3574, passed December.l, 1980) relating to garbage and refuse,collections rates.

A. Effective with the_February 28, ((4.983)) 1982 billings, the .
monthly rates to be charged by the city for garbage collection

B. Garbage can rental rates shall include spring clean-up projects,
, . _
garbage generated from all city buildings and parks, and street' refuse~
disposal containers. Dump fees for the spring clean-u,p will be paid-by
the city. .
C. Additional collections for garbage cans in',excess`of once'a week
pick-up, or for additional cans shall be at the rate of ((epe-dellar-apd-€#€ty-
sevep-eepts)) one dollar and sixty-nine cents (($~.-5~)) $1.69 for each additional
can. Payment for collection in excess of once each week pick-up for dumpster
service codes 10, 11, 12 and-13 shall be at the monetary rate multiplied by the
frequency of pick-up per week.
D. There shall be a minimum residential garbage collection charge of
((€eaw-dellaPS-awd-€exty-epe-seats-~$4~4;~) four dollars and seventy-five cents
' ($4.75)per occupied dwelling."
Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect and'be in force five (5) days
from and after its passage, approval and publication, as provided by law.
