AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, ADOPTING THE BUD6ET FOR THE
CITY Of AUBURN, WASH.INGTON, FOR THE YEAR A.D. 1982.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS`. Section 1. That pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 159 of the
Laws of the State of Washington,.for the year A.D. 1923, and the Laws of the
State of Washington supplementary thereto and amendatory thereof, the Mayor
of the City of Auburn has heretofore duly completed and placed on file with
the City Clerk of the City of Auburn, a preliminary budget for the year 1982,
that notice was tfiereupon duly published, as required by law, stating that the
Mayor had completed and placed on file such preliminary budget, and that a copy
would be furnished to any taxpayer who would call therefor at the Office of the
City Clerk, and that the City Council of the City of Auburn would meet on November
17 and 18, 1981; at 8:00 P.M. for the purpose of fixing the final budget and that
any taxpayer might appear at such time and be heard for or against any part of
sucfi budget, designating the place of 'such meetings;,as the Council Chambers of
the Auburn City Hall, 25 West.Main,,Auburn, Washington; that the Mayor of the City
of Auburn duly provided a suitable number of copies of such detailed preliminary
budget to meet the reasonable demands of taxpayers-therefor.; that-the Mayor and
the City Council of the City of Auburn duly met at the time designated in said
notice, in the Council Chambers of the Auburn City Hall, 25 West Main Street, in
the City of Auburn, on November 17 and 18, 1981, at 8:00 P.M.; that any and all '
taxpayers of the City of Auburn were given full opportunity to be heard.for or
, a9ainst such budget; that at said meetings said budget was considered carefully
item by item, and that, at the regular meeting held by the City Council, on the
7th day of December, 1981, duly fixed and determined each item of said budget,
separately, and that the i.tems of expense so fixed and determined, and now here
adopted by this Ordinance, are as follows, to-wit:
