Section 2. .That each of the lots and other property upon said assessment
11
roll is hereby declared,to be especially benefited by said improvements in at
12 •
least the amount chacged against the same, and that the assessment appearing 13
against each of the same is in proportion to the several assessments appearing
14
on said roll. That all of the property shall be assessed according to the
15
lineal frontage of the property abutting said'property to*be improved and
16
shall be assessed;according to their proportionate share of the several
17
assessments appearing upon the said assessment, roll and there is hereby levied
18 • .
19 and assessed against such.lots and other property appearing upon said roll,

20 the amount finally charged therein against the same; said arnount, or any por-
21 tion thereof, may be paid at any time within thirty (30) days from the date of
22 the first publication of the Notice of Collection of said assessments without
23 penelty, interest or cost; thereafter the sum remaining unpaid, if any, may be
24 paid in ten (10) equal annual installments, with interest on the whole unpaid
25 sum at the rate of lone-half (z) of one percent (1%) in excess of the net
26 effective rate of the Local Improvement District Bonds with the interest in no
, 27 case being greater than thirteen percent (13%).
28 Commencing`with the first year after the last day, such assessments, or ~
29 any portion thereof, may be paidwithout penalty, interest or cost (30 days

1 with the interest due;'shall be collected as provided by law and the Ordinance
2 of the City of Auburn, assessments,or installments of assessments not paid
' 3 when due shall be delinquent and there shall be added to the same a penalty of
4 eight and one-half'percent (8'.5%) of'the amount of the overdue installment and
5 interest, and such penalty shall become a part of the lien upon the property
6 assessed.
7 Section 3. All monies collected by the City Treasurer upon any of the
8 assessments levied, as authorized herein, shall be paid into "Local
9 Improvement District No. 320 Fund" created by Ordinance No. 3640, and shall be
10 used only for the purpose of redeeming warrants and/or bonds drawn upon or
11 issued against said fund.
12 Section 4. The Mayor is hereby authorized to implement such administra-
' 13 t9ve`procedures as may be necessary to carry out the directions of this
14 legislation. ; 15 Section 5. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in"force five (5) days
