AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, APPROVIN6 AND CONFIRMING THE
3 ASSESSMENTS AND ASSESSMENT ROLL OF LOCAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT N0. 315, .
WHICH. DISTRICT HAS BEEN CREATED AND ESTABLISHED PROVIDING FOR THE
4 CONSTRUCTION AND INSTALLATION OF A SANITARY SEWER LIFT STATION LOCATED
NEAR THE EAST..END.OF THE PORTER BRIDGE NEAR THE'INTERSECTION OF 104TH.

the amount'finally charged therein agAinst the same; said amount, or any por-
8 tion thereof, may be paid•at any timewithin thirty (30) days from the date of

the first publication of the Notice of Collection of said assessments without

penalty, interest or cost; thereafter the sum remaining unpaid,'if any, may be

paid in ten (10) equal annual installments, with interest on the whole unpaid
12 •
sum at the rate of one-half (z) of one percent (1%) in excess of tfie net
13 effective rate of the Local Improvement District Bonds with the interest in no
14
case being greater than thirteen percent (13%)..

Commencing with the first year after the last day, such assessments•, or

any portion thereof, may be paid without penalty, interest or cost (30 days
17 .
from the date of the first.publication of the Treasurer`s Notice of Collection

. 19 of Assessments') and each year thereafter, one of said installments, together
20 with the interest due, shall be collected as provided by law and the Ordinance
21 of the City of Auburn, assessments or installments of assessments not paid
22 when'due shall be delinquent and there shall be added to the same a penalty of
23 eight and one-half percent (8:5%) of the amount of the overdue installment and
24 interest, and such penalty shall become a part of the lien upon the property
2 5 assessed. ~
26 Section 3. All monies collected by the City Treasurer upon any of the
27 assessments levied, as authorized.herein, shall be paid into "Loca;l ' `
28 Improvement DiStrict No..315 Fund" created by Ordinance No. 3556, and'sfiall be
29 used only for the purpose of redeeming warrants and/or bonds drawn upon or
• 30 issued against said fund.

1 Section 41 Tfie Mayor is hereby authorized to implement such administra-
2 tive procedures as may be.necessary to carry out the directions of this
3 legislation.
4 Section 5. This,Ordinance shall take.effect and be in force five (5).days
5 from and after its passage, approval and publication, as prqvided by law. .
