CD of ONE AND NO/100 DOLLAR in hand paid, receipt of which is hereby acknowledged,
N hereby conveys to the CITY OF AUBURN, a municipal corporation of King County,

Washington, an EASEMENT for the PURPOSE OF INSTALLING RIPRAP along the West bank
of the Green River over the following described real property situated in the
CITY OF AUBURN, COUNTY OF KING, STATE OF WASHINGTON:
That portion of Reserve No. 1 (Gov. Lot 8) as platted in C. D. Hillman's
Auburndale Div. No. 1, Section 8, Township 21 North, Range 5 East, W. M,,
and recorded in Volume 13 of Plats, Page 62, records of King County,
Washington, LESS the West 95 feet and LESS street, more particularly
described as follows:
Beginning at the SE corner of said Reserve No. 1; thence extending Nally
along the West bank of Green River a distance of 15 feet.
For the construction, maintenance, repair or replacement of rock riprap. Such
construction, maintenance, repair or replacement shall be accomplished in such
manner that the private improvements existing adjacent to said easement shall
not be disturbed, damaged, or destroyed. In the event they are disturbed, dam-
aged, or destroyed, the GRANTEE shall replace such improvements in as good con-
dition as they were prior to entry by the GRANTEE, The GRANTEE further agrees
to indemnify and save harmless the GRANTOR, his heirs, executors, and assigns
from any liability arising out of the activities-of the GRANTEE contemplated
hereunder.
