THE CITY OF AUBURi•i, I.IASHINGTON, a municipal corporation, does hereby grant and
convey to the PACIFIC i'ORTH;•iEST BELL TELEPHONE COINIPAiiY, a I•.ashington corporation, an
Easement over and across, upon and underneath, the folloJing described land for ingress
and egress and for the purpose of laying, maintaining, and installing underground
communications lines with wires and cables attached thereto, as the Grantee may from
time to time require, said land being described as:
A strip of land ten (10) feet in width across the M'ortn line of the
Southeast Quarter of the dorthl;iest Quarter (SE 1/4 NI.1 1/4). of Section
14, To,,,rnship 21 worth, Range n East, EXCLUDING City Streets.
Said Easem-:~nt to exist so long as Grantee uses the hereinabove granted
Easement for the purposes specified herein.
Grantee. shall at all tines have the right of full and free ingress to and egress
from said property for all purposes herein mentioned, and to remove at any time, any
or all of the underground communications lines and/or wires, cables, fixtures and
appurtenances from the said property, with the understanding that Grantee shall be
responsible for all damage it causes Grantor by the exercise of the rights and
privileges herein granted.
The City of Auburn, Washington, as Grantor, retains- the right to utilize the
aforedescribed property for road;;ay purposes. It is further understood and agreed
that the Grantee shall be responsible for the complete restoration of any and all
improvements made by the City of Auburn to the road~,ray adjacent to the aforedescribed
property, in the event the Grantee should excavate into said road--!iay.
It is understood and agreed by and bet~;reen the parties hereto that, if determined
that the existing ground elevation should change in the future, the Grantee small be
required to raise or lower any or all of their i reprove )ents enco ,passed v,i thi n said
Easement to conform to the finished graJ2 of the Cer;etery at no cost to the City of
Auburn, 11ashington.

of and be bi ndi nc! upon th heirs, e:;ecutors , ad;r!i ni s,trators , successors and assigns
