THIS AGREEMENT made. this : ~1" day of 5F_J--1TErn~ - 1910 by and
between the CITY OF AUBURN, a mun c pal corporation o . King county, Wasfifngton,
hereinafter termed "Grantee" and CARL S. BOLTON, Partner - PEN4G~Of~,nfte~ed
"Grantor".
WITHESSETH:
That the said Grantor.for v610able consideration does by these presents grant
unto the Grantee a slope and utility easement with the right to make all necessary
slopes upon the.abuttiog,property for cuts and fills as may be required in the
construction of roadway improvements and.for adequate drainage ditches to preserve
existing drainage on and adjacent to the right-of-way on West Main Street.
The slope and utility easement is described as follows:
The'North 10 feet of the following legally described property:
Thd East 1/2 of the West 1/2 of the East 1/2 of the Northeast 1/4 of.
the Southwest 1/4 of $ec~iq*n lw3 'Township 21 North, Range 4 East, N.M.,
LESS-Sta.te Road. Situate in the City of Auburn, County of King, State
of Washington.

That said Grantee shall have-the right without prior institution of any suit
or proceeding at laws, at times as may be necessary, to enter upon said easement for
the purpose of placement of roadway slopes without incurring any legal obligation
or-liabiiity.therefor; provided that such construction shall be accomplished in such
a manner that private Improve is shall not be disturbed or destroyed, or in the
event they are disturbed, strayed, they will be.replaced in as good a condition
as' they were immediate b the property was entered upon by the Grantee.
This easemenf shall be automatically extinguished in the event grantor, its
heirs,, successors, and assigns, bring the land herein burdened by the easement to
the grade'of grantees nearest-pavement.
This easement shall be covenant running with.the land and shall be binding on
the successors,.heirs, and.assigns of both parties hereto.

deed, for the uses and purposes therein mentioned.
