In consideration of the payment of $1.00 by the City of
Auburn, a municipal corporation in the State of Washington,
receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, the grantors herein,
A.
Ralph Harris and Margaret3e/darris, husband and wife, do hereby
grant to the City of Auburn, a municipal corporation in the
State of Washington, an easement over and across and under the
surface of the following described portion of property for the
purpose of the City of Auburn laying, installing, and maintain-
ing a. water pipe line, said easement to be over and under the
following described property:
The south seven (7) feet of the following described property:
From a stone monument which is the southeast corner
of Government Lot five (5), Section 19, Township
21 North, Range 5 East W.M., run north 0024+46"
east along the east -line of said Government Lot
five (5), a distance of 15 feet to the north
line of the County Road, thence South 89031'46''
west along the north line of the County Road, a
distance of 508 feet to the true $oint of be-
ginning, thence continue south 89 31t4611 west,
a distance of 160.5 feet to the west line of the
southeast quarter of said Government Lot five (5),
thence north 0039,2411 east, a distance of 325 feet,
thence north 89031146" east, parallel to the County
Road, a distance of' 159.12 feet., thence south 0024+
46" west, parallel to the east line of Government
Lot five (5), a distance of 325 feet to the true
point of beginning, King County, Washington.
It is understood this easement is given in consideration of the
City of Auburn back filling and leveling all excavations made and
restoring the surface of the property to its original condition
and the City of Auburn filling all settling of any excavations
with dirt and/or gravel for one year from the date of this easement.
This easement shall not allow the City of Auburn to excavate through
the driveway on the above property, but the City of Auburn may
go under the driveway with the pipe line, the City of Auburn to be
responsible for any damage to the driveway in the event of any
sinking after the installation of the pipe line.
