WHEREAS, The City of Laburn, a City of the third class,
situate in the County of King and State of Washington, is proposing
to construct an enlarged water supply system for said City, having
as its source of supply whf.t is generally known as COLL CREEK S M INGS,
originating i 4 rty-Three (33) and ty-Height (28) In
Township Twenty-One (21) North of Range Five (5) East W. Id., in the
said County of King and State of Washington;
WHEREAS, It is convenient and necessary in piping water
from said COAL CREEK SPRINGS, by said City, that a water pipe line
be laid and constructed over, upon, along and across the lot, tract,
or parcel of land hereinafter described;
AND WHEREAS, The said lot, tract, or parcel of land here-
inafter described, are owned by, and in the possession of, the
HUDSON LAND COMPAVY, a corporation, organized and doing business
under and by virtue of the laws of the State of Uregon, with its
offices and chief place of business at the Dalles, in the State of
Oregon;
NOW, THEREFORE, In consideration of the payment to the
said HUDSON LAIID COILPANY of -,fifty and no/100 (50.00) Dollars, cash
in hand, the receipt whereof hereby is acknowledged, the said HUDSON
LAND uU.,,PjJTY does hereby grant and convey unto the said City of Auburn
and to its successors in interest, a perpetual easement to lay, con-

cribed in and which executed the foregoing instrument, and acknowledged
that the said corporation executed the said instrument as its free
and voluntary act and deed for the uses and purposes therein mentioned,
