AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, PROVIDING FOR THE REZONING OF
3 A PARCEL OF LAND LYING ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF KERSEY WAY IN THE 2400-2700
BLOCKS, WITHIN THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, CHANGING THE ZONING
¢ CLASSIFICATION THEREOf FROM R-1 TO R-2 WITH A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR
THE CONSTRUCTION OF TWO FOUR-PLEXES.

6 WHEREAS, a petition has been submitted to the Council of the City of
7.Auburn, Washington, by TRANSCANADA ENTERPRISES LTD., requesting the rezoning
8 of the real property hereinafter described in Section 1 of this Ordinance,
9 which petition was dated March 4, 1982; and
10 WHEREAS, said request above referred to, was referred to the Planriing
11 Commission by,the Auburn,City Council for study and public hearing thereon;

and
13 WHEREAS; the P.lanning ;Commiss"ion 'held a publ9c hearing to consider said
14 petition in the Council Chambers of the Auburn City Hall, on April 6, 1982, at
15 7:30 P.M., at which`time `the PlanningCommission approved the request to rezone
16 from R71 (Single Family) to R-2 (Single Family) with•a Conditional Use'Permit
17 to.construct 2 four-plexes and denied the request for a Conditional Use Permit
18 for 151 single family detached lots with a minimum of 6,000 square feet and 60
19 foot frontages on a parcel of.property located on the south side of Kersey Way
20 in the 2400-2700 blocks, 53 acres in size; and
21 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Auburn, held a public hearing in
22. the Council Chambers of the Auburn City Hall, at 8:00 P.M. on May 3, 1982, at
23 which time tlie City Council concurred with the recommendations of the Planning
24 Commission as hereinabove stated.
25 NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, DO
26 ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
27 Section 1. That the following described property located on a parcel of
28 land lying on the south side of Kerseq Way in the 2400-2700 blocks, within
29 the City of Auburn, County of King, State of Washington, be and the same is
30 hereby rezoned from R-1 (Single Family) to R-2 (Single Family) with a
