AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF 1'HE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, AMENDING
3 ' AUBURN CITY ORDINANCE N0. 3639 (PASSED MAY 15, 1972) ALLOWING FOR A FIVE-
' YEAR EXTENSION TO AN EXISTING SPECIAL PROPERTY'USE PERMIT FOR GRAVEC
4 , REMOVAL,ON A,PARCEL OF LAND LOCATED AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF 15TH
5 STREET S.W. AND THE WEST VALLEY HIGHWAY.
6 THE"CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, DO.ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
7 Section 1. That Auburn City Ordinance No. 2639, passed May 15, 1972, is
8 herebY amended a.llowin for a five-(5
9 ) year extension to an existing Special
9 Property Use Permit for gravel removal on a parcel of land located at the •
, 10 northwest corner of 15th Street S.W. and the West Ilalley Highway.
11 Section 2. That the five-(5) year extension to the existing Special
12 Property Use Permit as approved by Ordinance No. 3214 for the purpose of gra-
13 vel removal.be authorized
, provided, that the owners agree to the following
14 '
provisions•
15 1. Tfiat the owners and/or operators agree to abide by the provisions of
16
City'Ordinance Nos. 3639 and 3214 and the agreements attached thereto
17 "
recorded under King County Auditor's File Nos. 7206010430 and
18 '
7711100784.

2. That erosion control and sedimentation control and reclamation plans
20 be submitted to the City of Auburn Public Works Department for review
21
' and approval prior to removing any additional material from the site.

3. Prior to removal of any additional material from the site, the
23 ,
owner/operator-sh'a11 submit to.the.Public Works Department for their
24
. approval.an,ingress and egress traffic control plan.

4. Prior to tfie removal of any additional material from the site the

' owner/,operator shaTl sign an agreement agreeing to keep the str,eets
27 . ,
clean of material tracked onto them from the excavation site and to

29 repair all roadway damage caused by the trucks entering or exiting
from the site.
