3 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, PROVIDING.FOR A CONDITIONAL USE
PERMIT TO USE AN EXISTING SINGLE FAMILY DWELLING ZONED R-4 (MULTI-FAMILY)
¢ FOR CHURCH PURPOSES LOCATED AT 2301 "I" STREET N.E., WITHIN THE CITY OF
AUBURN, WASHINGTON.
5 6 WHEREAS, a petition dated March 26, 1982, together with plot plans and
7 exterior elevations therefor, has been submitted to the Council of the City of
8 Auburn, Washington, by N. R. HEBERT and NORTH AUBURN BAPTIST CHURCH,
9 requesting a Conditional Use Permit to use an existing single family dwelling
10 zoned R-4 (multi-family) for church purposes Tocated at 2301 "I" Street N.E.,
11 hereinafter described in Section 1 of this Ordinance; and
12 WHEREAS, said request above'referred.to, was referred to the Planning
13 Commission by the Auburn City Council for study and public hearing thereon;
14 and
15 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing to consider said
16 request in the Council Chambers of the Auburn City Hall, on May 4, 1982, at
17 7;30 P.M., and subsequent thereto, the City Planning Cortrtnission recommended
18 approval of the issuance of a Conditional Use Permit on property zoned R-4
19 *
(multi-family), finding that the proposed use illustrated by the site deve-
20 lopment plans of the petitioners would not be duly detrimental.to the adjacent ~
21 and surroundin
g properties and the enjoyment thereof; and ,
22 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Auburn, held a public hearing
' 23 in-the Council Chambers of th'e Auburn City Hall, at 8:00 P.M. on June 7, 1982,
24 at which time the City Council concurred with the recommendations of the
25 Planning Commission as hereinabove stated. ,
26 NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, DO

16 Section 4: That a Certificate of Occupancy be obtained from,the Building
17 and Fire Departments assur.ing that the,fol.lowing conditions have been met:
18 a. That the occupancy.load of the building be determined by'the number
, of of.f-street parking spaces available for church purposes as, outTined
19 . in'the parking site plan attached hereto, designated, as Exhibit "B"
and by this reference"made a pant hereof as though set forth in full
20 herein. . . '
21 , b. That all the applicable Building and Fire Code requirements are met.
22 c._ That the illegal~off-premisesadvertising_signs p.laced on the street
; right=of=way of Auburn Way North and other streets be eliminated.

, Section.5. Any violation of the above stated conditions shall be grounds
24 to revoke the Conditional Use Permit.
25 Section 6. That the Pfanning Director for the City of Auburn, Washington,

• 28 Section 7: The.Mayor is hereby authorized to implement such
