5 THE CITY.COUNCIL OF THEXITY Of AUBURN, WASHINGTON,. DO ORDAIN.AS FOLLOWS:
6 Section 1. Auburn"City.Ordinance No. 3765 relating to local .
7 improvement district.assessments penalty,is hereby,amended to read as follows:
• 8 . "A penalty of ,
91. twelve percent`of all delinquent„local improyement.district assessments
or installments thereof the city'heretofore or hereafter levied is fixed
10 . and charged. Such penalty shall become due on the date of delinquency of
any such assessment" or'installment 'thereof, shall be added to the same,
' 11 and shall be included in and become a,part of the assessment lien, and
shall be collected'by the city in the.same.manner as all local improJe-
12 ment.district assessments or,installments thereof."
.13 Section 2. The.Mayor is hereby authorized to implementuch:administra-
14 tive procedures;as may be~necessary to carry out the directions of this
15 legislation..
- 16 Section 3.- This;Ordinance shall.take effect and be in force five (5) days
17 from and after its pas'sage, approval and publication, as provided by law.
