3 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, PROVIDING FOR A CONDITIONAL
USE PERMIT ON PROPERTY ZONED R-2 SINGLE FAMILY AND R-4 MULTI-FAMILY LYING
¢ SOUTHERLY OF 3535 AUBURN WAY SOUTH, WITHIN THE CITY Of AUBURN, WASHINGTON:

WHEREAS, petition dated April 27, 1982, together with plot plans and
6
exterior elevations therefor, has been submitted to the Council of the City of
7
Auburn, Washington, by CALVARY TEMPLE ASSEMBLY OF GOD CHURCH, requesting a
8 :
Conditional Use Permit_on property zoned R-2 Single Family and R-4 Multi=
9
family, for purposes to construct additions to the churcli complex and to
10
construct additional off-street parking facilities, lying southerly of the
11
existing church at 3535 Auburn.Way South; within the City_of Auburn,
12
13 .'Washington, hereinafter described in Section l of this Ordinance, which pro-
4
14 perty presently carries an R-2 Single Family and R-4 Multi-family
,
~classification;•and'

WHEREAS, said,request above referred•to, was referred to,the Planning
16 . . ,
,
17 Commission by the Auburn City'Council for study and public hearing thereon;
and
18 .
19 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing to consider said
20 request in the Council Chambers of the Auburn City Hall, on June 8, 1982; at
21 7:30 P.M., and subsequent thereto, the City Planning Commission recommended
22 approval of the issuance of a Conditional Use Permit on property zoned R-2
23 Single Family and R-4 Multi=family, finding that the proposed use illustrated
• 24 by the site development plans of the petitioner5 would not be duly detrimental
25 to the adjacent and surrounding properties and the enjoyment thereof; and
26 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Auburn, held a public hearing
27 in the Council Chambers of the Auburn City Hall, at 8:00 P.M. on July 19,
28 ` 1982, at which time the Cify Council concurred with the recommendations of the
29 Planning Commission as hereinabove stated.
30 NOW, THEREFORE, THE GITY.COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, DO
31 ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: -

Section 3. That the Conditional Use Permit shall expire after one year,

Section 5. The`Mayor is hereby authorized to implement such administra-

tive procedures as may be necessary to carry'out the directions of this
