Background Summary:
The Downtown Reclevelopment Committees has recently discussed revisions to the Downtown Aubum
Sidewalk Design Guidelines. related to the streef and pedestrian lighting desired for the Downtown area.
The attached revisions to the "Downtown Auburn Sidewalk Design Guidelines" incorporate the selection
of the Committee for a new light standard that serves both street and petlestrian functions.

PEDESTRIAN CROSSWALKS
Intent: to ensure consistency and clarity for W '
wayfinding and safety

1. All crosswalks shall 10 foot wide concrete with a 2' x 2' _ • i~~ CROSSWALKS
to scored section between rows, of perpendicular -
stamped brick pattems on either side reflective of the
adjacent sidewalk design.
2. All intersection will require a thermoplastic crosswalk line
for additional visibility on either side of the concrete
cross walk.

support holiday lighting, with additional electrical service `
being provided at the plaza and other locations where
