Background Summary: The Commercial Buildings Demolifion Project consists of demolishing the Marvel Building located on the
southwest corner of West Main Street and South Division Street and the Crites/Huff Buildings located on °
the southwest comer of 12' Street Southwest and South Division Street. The demolitions will also include
the removal of hazardous materials from the properties (asbestos and lead 'paint) and the severance of
existing utilities serving the properties.
The project construction is anticipated to begin in August 2010 and be eompleted 6y October 2010.
This project is included as part ofithe City Hall Plaza Project. A project budget contingency of $61,495
remains in the 330 Local Revitalization Fund.
