CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION MEETING
Meeting Minufes of May 11, 2010
The regularly scheduled meeting of the Civil Service Commission was held May 11, 2010, in Resource
Room #2 located on the second floor of Aubum City Hall, 25 West Main Street, Auburn, WA. The
following members were in attendance.
MEMBERS PRESENT: Chairman Dick Kammeyer and Member Cyril Van Selus (telephonically).
STAFF PRESENT: Police Chief Jim Kelly, Assistant City Attorney Steven Gross, and Civil Service
Secretary Terry Mendoza.
ACTION:
Chairman Kammeyer called the meeting to order at 3:34 p.m.
Approval of the April 13, 2010, Civil Service Commission meeting minutes: ,
e Minutes were accepted as written. Motion by Member Van Selus; Chairman Kammeyer
seconded.
Approval of the May 6, 2010, Lateral Police Officer Eligibility list:
• Eligibility list approved. Motion by Member Van Selus; Chairman Kammeyer seconded.
Approval to move forward with the recruitment process for Police Services Specialist Supervisor:
• Request approved. Motion by Member Van Selus; Chairman Kammeyer seconded.
UPDATES:
An update was provided on the recruitment process for Lateral Police Officer.
ADJOURNMENT:
There being no further business to come before the Commission, the meeting adjourned at 3:36 p.m.
