August 12, 2010 -The 2010 Arterial and Collector Pavement Preservation project is scheduled to begin paving activities on Monday, August 16th in the project limits listed above. Construction
is expected to take up to four weeks to complete. Curb and gutter replacement has already begun in preparation for this paving work. This work is weather dependant. The working hours
for this project will be weekdays from 7am to 6pm. Through traffic and local access to properties on I Street NE and 22nd Street NE will be maintained but traffic delays should be anticipated.
Access to I Street NE from certain side streets will be closed at times during construction. For further information contact the Public Works Department at 253-931-3010.
