FOR THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, FOR THE YEAR A.D. 1994. 4 5 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, DO 6 ORDAIN.AS FOLLOWS: ~ 7 Section 1. That pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 8 35A.33, the Mayor of the City of Auburn has heretofore duly 9 completed and placed on file with the City Clerk of the City 10 of Auburn, a preliminary budget for the year 1994, and tYiat 11 notice was thereupon duly published, as required by law, 12 stating that the Mayor had completed and placed on file such 13 preliminary budget and a copy would be furnished to any 14 taxpayer who would call therefor at the office of the City. 15 Clerk, and that the City Council of the City of Auburn would 16 meet on November 15, 1993 at 7:30 p.m. for the purpose of 17 f ixing the budget and any taxpayer might appear at such time 18 and be heard for or against any part of such budgefi, and 19 designating the place of such meetings as the Council Chamber-s 20 of the Auburn City Hall, 25 West Main Street, Auburn, ' 21 Washington; That the Mayor of the Cityof Auburn duly provided 22 a suitable number,of copies of. such detailed preliminary 23 budget to meet the reasonable demands of taxpayers therefor; 24 That the Mayor and the City Council of the City of Auburn duly 25 26 - Ordinance No. 4646 November 9,1993 Page 1 j , . . _ . 1 , met at the time designated, in said notice in the Council 2 , Chambers of the Auburn City Hall, 25 West Main Street, City of 3 Auburn, on November 15, 1993 at 7:30 p.m.; That any and all 4 taxpayers of the City of Auburn were given full opportunity to _ 5 be heard for or against such budqet; That the City Eouncil has 6 conducted public meetings on September 7, 1993 and `November 7 , 15, 1993 to consider this preliminary budget; That at said 8 meetings said budget was considered; and That, at the meeting. 9 ~ held by the City Council on the 15th day of November, 1993 the 10: • City Council considered modifications of said budget and 11 thereafter approved the 1994 budget for the City of Auburn as. 12 . herein adopted by this Ordinance as follows, to-wit: 13 14 City of.Auburn 1994 Budget Ordinance No. 4646 15 FUND # FUND NAME APPROPRIATIONS 1 6 - GENERAL FUND: 17 001 General................... $23,007,700 ` 18 SPECIAL REVENUE FUNDS: 19 101 Street 576,100 20 102 Arterial Street.......... 1,319,000 119 Housing & Comn. The above. appropriations include transfers from tlie 24 Cumulative Reserve Fund 1122 to the,;General Fund for capital 25 26 Ordinance No. 4646 November 9,1993 Page 3 1 purchases in the amount of $200,000 and from the Insurance 2 Fund #501 to the General Fund for the payment of insurance 3 premiums in the amount of $50,000. 4 Section 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to implement 5 such administrative procedures as may be necessary to carry, ,6 out the directions.of this legislation. 7 , - Section 3.
