SUBJECT: Electric Vehicle Technology: An Overview
At the October 25, 2010, Planning and Community Development Committee meeting, staff will
give a PowerPoint presentation on electric vehicle technology, electric vehicle charging
infrastructure, and associated municipal policy considerations. This presentation is intended to
provide the Committee with relevant background information prior to the Committee's consideration of potential changes to the City Code to implement the electric vehicle
infrastructure requirements of HB 1481 passed by the Washington State Legislature in 2009.
