AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, PROVIDING FOR THE REZONING OF
A PARCEL OF LAND FIVE ACRES IN SIZE LYING ON THE EAST SIDE OF "B"
STREET N.W. BETWEEN 30TH AND 37TH STREETS N.W., WITHIN THE CITY QF
AUBURN, WASHINGTON, CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION THEREOF FROM
UNCLASSIFIED TO M-1.

WHEREAS, a petition has been submitted to the Council of the City of

co Auburn, Wasnington, by VERA HELBERG, requesting the rezoning of the real
: .P1-f'D
property hereinafter described in Section 1 of this Ordinance, which petition
was dated April 27, 1977; and
WHEREAS, said request above referred to, was referred to the Planning
Commission by the Auburn City Council for study and public hearing thereon; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing to consider said
petition at Les Gove Park Building, in the City of Auburn, Washington, on June
7, 1977, at 7:30 P.M., at the conclusion of which the Commission recommended
the approval of the rezoning of the said property; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Auburn, held a public hearing
in the temporary Council Chambers at the Auburn School District Administration
Building, at 8:00 P.M. on July 5, 1977, at which time the City Council concurred
with the recommendations of the Planning Commission as hereinabove stated;
iVOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the following described property located on a parcel of
land 5 acres in size lying on the east side of "B" Street N.W. between 30th and
37th Streets N.W., situate in the City of Auburn, County of King, State of
Washington, be and the same is hereby rezoned from Unclassified to M-1 (Light
Industrial), to-wit:
N 1/2.of Lot 3 of Blk 4 of Christopher Garden Tracts
in the S 1/2 of the NE 1/4 of Sec 1, Twp 21 !V, R 4 EWM as
recorded in Plats Vol 23, page 6 of King County, Wash.
situated in the City of Auburn, County of King, State of
Wash.

Section 2. That the amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning Map of the
; City of Auburn, encompassing this zoning use classification change, which
amendment is designated as Exhibit "A" .hereof, be and the same is hereby
, approved.
Section 3. That the City Clerk of the City of Auburn, is hereby
authorized and directed to file a certified copy of this Ordinance with the
~ King County Auditor's Office.
Section 4. That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force
five (5) days from and after its passage, approval and publication, as
provided by ]aw.
