AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, PROVIDING FOR THE REZONING OF
A PARCEL OF LAND LYING ON THE NORTH SIDE OF 15TH STREET S.E. IN
THE 200 BLOCK, WITHIN THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, CHANGING THE
ZONING CLASSIFICATION THEREOF FROM R-3 TO R-4.

~ WHEREAS, a petition has been submitted to the Council of the City of
A ubur.n, Washington, by JOHN M. PORTER, requesting the rezoning of the real

~ property hereinafter described in Section 1 of this Ordinance, which petition
~ was dated April 29, 1977; and
WHEREAS, said request above referred to, was referred to the Planning
Commission by the Auburn City Council for study and public hearing thereon; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Comnission held a public hearing to consider said
petition at Les Gove Park Building, in the City of Auburn, Washington, on July
6, 1977; at 7:30 P.M., at the conclusion of which the Commission recommended
the approval of the rezoning of the said property; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Auburn, held a public hearing
in the temporary Council Chambers at the Auburn School District Administration
Building, at 8:00 P.M. on August 1, 1977, at which time the City Council concurred
with the recommendations of the Planning Commission as hereinabove stated;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the following described property located on a parcel of
land lying on the north side of 15th Street S.E. in the 200 block, situate in
the City of Auburn, County of King, State of Washington, be and the same is
hereby rezoned from R-3 (Duplex) to R-4 (Multi-Family), to-wit:
Lots 5, 6 and T.L. 42, Block 4, Boyd's First Addition
to the City of Auburn, as recorded in Plats Vol. 21, page
14, King Co., Wash. situated in Section 19, Twp 21 N, R 5
EWM, City of Auburn, County of King, State of Wash.
Section 2. That the amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning Map of the
City of Auburn, encompassing this zoning use Cl.assification change, which amend-
ment is designated as Exhibit "A" hereof, be and the same is hereby approved.

Section 3. That the City Clerk of the City of Auburn, is hereby
authorized and directed to file a certified copy of this Ordinance with the
~ King County Auditor's Office.
Section 4. That This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force

five (5) days from and after its passage, approval and publication, as
~
~provided by law.
